hill of crosses 2 by ~pavkata At first my eyes were lost in the crucifixes ... the sea of them. Then, I saw what I think I was supposed to see. Very interesting composition in a photo where composition was tough! Well done, mate! ( Suggested by Dibi and Featured by cweeks )

this hill is few km away from the place where I live, accutaly i don't understand why foreigner adores this place.ppl brings there crosses in case to heal their sorrows, asks for help or health or smth like that.and pics comments :"oh wow! how many crosses!,Stunning! " it's ppl's pain you stupids! see how the world cruel is ..

Its interesting to us because we live in a culture where we rarely can express our pain - its beautiful that people have the freedom and means to express sorrow

I think you can express your pain, but your ppl are "too buisy" or have their own problems, don't have time to think about others and don't want to listent to.Thought USA is liberal and you have sooooooo many freedoms :hmm:

Thats just propoganda.

We are humans, we are people, we have feelings, we have problems. We hate Bush.

We can - but why cant we appreciate others works? Grief and pain is universal.

another DA member posted about the crosses - it is a place of sorrow, where people post a cross to express grief and loss
